Managing Leads

As an event owner, you can take actions on any lead in your event — not just your own. This lets you fix issues as they come up, without waiting for a rep to do it.

Confirming a lead’s email from the web

If a rep captured a lead without an email address, you can confirm it from the web inbox.
  1. Open the lead from the Drafts queue.
  2. Click Confirm email in the lead header.
  3. Enter the email address.
  4. Click Confirm.
The lead moves to the Inbox and Rev processes it. Use this when a rep talked to someone and took a note, but the prospect’s card was too blurry to scan, or they said “email me later” and you have the address from a follow-up ping.

Adding notes from the web

You can add a note to any lead in your event directly from the web inbox. Open the lead. Use the note composer at the bottom of the left column to type your note and click Add note. The note appears in the activity timeline immediately. This is useful when you have context from a conversation that a rep didn’t capture, or when a colleague passed on information after the event.

Setting intent

Click the intent chips in the lead header — Hot, Warm, or Cold — to set or change the rep’s assessment of the lead. This updates immediately.

Running Rev on a lead

If a lead hasn’t been processed by Rev yet, or if new context has been added since the last run, you’ll see a Process with Rev or Regenerate button in the right panel. Click it to ask Rev to produce a new analysis and follow-up draft. Rev may take a few seconds.

Running Rev on multiple leads

Use the New/Updated filter in the Inbox to show only leads that haven’t been processed or have new context. Select the leads you want, then click Process N with Rev. A progress indicator shows you how many are done.

Duplicates

BoothRev flags potential duplicates when two leads appear to be the same person. You’ll see them in the Duplicates queue.

Reviewing a duplicate group

Open the Duplicates queue. Click a flagged lead to see the duplicate group. Each group shows both leads side by side with their details and which rep captured each one. “Captured by” shows you which rep owns each lead so you can factor that in.

Merging

Select which lead to keep as the primary record — this is the “survivor”. BoothRev moves all the notes, activities, and tags from the other lead into the survivor, and archives the duplicate. The survivor is flagged as updated and Rev re-processes it to incorporate the merged context.

Releasing without merging

If the two leads are actually different people (same name, different company), click Release to remove the duplicate flag. Both leads return to the Inbox independently.

Clearing a lead’s email

If a confirmed email address is wrong, open the lead, click Edit details, clear the email field, and save. This moves the lead back to Drafts and removes the Rev analysis. The activity timeline keeps a record of what happened. Add the correct email when you have it.
