# What rev does

# What Rev Does

Rev is BoothRev's built-in AI. It reads the context from each lead — notes, voice transcripts, scorecard answers, contact details — and produces a structured analysis and a personalized follow-up draft.

Rev is not a chatbot. You don't talk to it. It works in the background after you take a specific action, and it produces a specific output. That's it.

## When Rev runs

Rev never runs on its own. It runs when a person triggers it.

**Rev runs after you confirm a lead's email.** Confirming the email is the signal that the lead is real and worth processing. Rev won't touch a lead in Drafts — only confirmed leads.

**Rev also runs when you click Regenerate.** If you've added more context after the initial processing — a new voice note, a note from a follow-up call, an updated scorecard — you can ask Rev to try again. Click **Regenerate** (or **Process with Rev**) on the lead detail page.

**Event owners can run Rev in bulk.** From the inbox, use the New/Updated filter to find leads that haven't been processed or have new context, select them, and click **Process N with Rev**.

## What Rev produces

For each lead, Rev creates:

* **Priority** — High, Medium, or Low. Based on the intent, ICP fit, and the context from the conversation.
* **ICP fit** — A score and a label showing how closely this lead matches the event's Ideal Customer Profile.
* **Qualification summary** — A short paragraph describing why this lead is or isn't a good fit, based on what was captured.
* **Lead profile** — A summary of the conversation: what they're dealing with, what they're interested in, and what the agreed next step is.
* **Next steps** — A short, specific action item based on the conversation.
* **Follow-up draft** — A personalized email ready to review and send.

All of these appear in the right panel of the lead detail page on the web, and in the Follow-up tab on mobile.

## What Rev will never do

* Rev will not confirm a lead's email address.
* Rev will not send an email on your behalf.
* Rev will not overwrite anything you or a rep have confirmed. Your data is locked. Rev only fills in fields you haven't set.
* Rev will not fabricate details that aren't in the notes. If the notes are sparse, the draft will be short. It won't invent a conversation that didn't happen.

***

## The quality of Rev's output depends on what you capture

Rev can only work with what you give it. A voice note that describes the prospect's problem, what they asked about, and what you agreed to next will produce a much better draft than a lead with just a name and company.

Reps who take 60 seconds to leave a voice note after each conversation consistently get better follow-up drafts than reps who rely on card scans alone.
